This is a posting I did for a drawing jam on Red Bubble.com.
The character was from a Neil Adams and the late great Dick Giordano story from the early 80's. 'Man-Bat'.
The artwork is set in the 1940's, Metropolis.
and what better way to dive into the 'blog world' than with my first stand alone illustration of Wolverine.
I loved the mysterious setting of Patch in Madripoor in those early Wolverine issues I had as a kid and the two villains Bloodsport and Roughhouse drawn by the amazing John Buscema blew my mind. The chinese writing behind Patch means Steel- Man. You might also notice a silhouette on the rooftops, any guesses?
