This painting began because my son Wyatt loves the Rocketeer, he has watched the movie at least a gazillion times. For his birthday I started this oil painting on canvas for his room. The pose was created from Dave Stevens rear cover image.

This weeks drawing challenge was 'Terminator', it was very tempting to do Arnie with his chin gleaming in the sunlight, but I thought I would concentrate on his arch foe, the T1000.

Yojimbos Challenge

It's been a couple of weeks but I have managed to get on top of work enough to do my weekly sketch up. I knocked this one on the head in one night, although like most drawings, it takes me a little while to think abiout the composition and narrative that I want the work to tell.
